Volunteer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Our goal is to get out the vote and elect Democratic Party candidates for national and state level. profile in the community. To do that, we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Work with candidates to help them get on the ballot<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Help with voter registration drives, write postcards, canvass<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Help get out the vote<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Distribute campaign signs and literature<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Sponsor events to help our candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Participate in community events such as CulpeperFest, CulpeperPalooza, and Pride Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Volunteer at the polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Serve on town and county citizens commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Help staff our Main Street office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizens’ Boards and Commissions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

CCDC members are encouraged to apply for positions on a variety of Citizens’ boards in both Town and County government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meetings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

General membership meetings are held at 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month. We meet at the Association of Social Work Boards at 17126 Mountain Run Vista Ct., Culpeper<\/a>. There is often a guest speaker, as well as a discussion of community concerns. Guests are always welcome. If you’re someone who leans Democratic, or you’re just Democrat-curious, we hope you’ll join us. Everyone in the community is invited to attend. PLEASE NOTE<\/strong>: McDevitt Drive is closed. The easiest way to get there is to take Chandler Street from downtown. Click here<\/a> for more information from VDOT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Committee meets at 1pm on the third Friday of the month in the conference room at the Culpeper County Democrats Office at 411 S. Main St. CCDC Members are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
